NEW IN ║ Oasap Galaxy printed sleeveless blouse + skull hair accessory.

It's finally mine! Mauwhaha! 

My-oh-my, I was searching for a galaxy blouse for ages already, and then I found it at Oasap! I expected the blouse to arrive when I was in the USA, so I really hoped someone would take the package for me. But when I came back, no one heard of the package. Bummer! So I checked the status of my order, and I discovered it would come that same week. Shoot, then I would be at Lowlands (I wanted to wear this to Lowlands already haha!). 

After Lowlands, the package was staring at me when I entered the doorstep. I grabbed the package, run upstairs and opened it immidiately. A twinkle in my eyes appeared, I tried the blouse on and hooray it fitted!

Oh yeah, and as you can see, I also ordered the skull for in my hair. I thought it would be a bit different, but this is actually better then my idea of the skull!

I wore the blouse twice already, in two different ways, and I know I can combine this one in a thousand ways (already made 1000 combinations in my mind...)!

Conclusion of this post: me having a new blouse (oh and the skull), me being very happy with it, me who's gonna spam my blog with this blouse in outfits.

LIFE + OUTFIT ║ Calella - party all night long.

As I already told you a hundred times before, this summer I went to Calella with 4 friends of mine, and it was such a bless. 

Here are some of the pictures we made while we were a day in Barcelona, unfortunately we hadn't had enough time to visit the F21 and the Primark, but we had a great day after all (:

And now back to reality, after I came back from Lowlands this Monday, I got some messages whether I would come to Amsterdam, so that's what I did. Result: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday partying! Yesterday I also went to a party and tonight I've got a birthday, so - yeah - also a party!

What a week, I love it!

After a week of parties, tomorrow is going to be my lazy day, hopefully I can sleep all day long without getting disturbed about all kinds of bullshit people in my house love to disturb me about...

OUTFIT ║ It's a Hollywood sign.

As I was in LA, we - of course - had to visit the Hollywood sign. So that's what we did.
Of course it's pretty much a touristy thing, but hey, if I'm in LA, I can't not go to it! I mean, I'm not the kind of person who flies 12 hours every day to another continent!

So this is my outfit of that day, as I already told you over here this is one of my favorite outfits.

Yesterday I came back from 3 days (well actually 5) of Lowlands and it was perfect again!
Will post about it as soon as possible! Tonight I'm off to Amsterdam to party, this week is full of events and parties, yay! Meanwhile I'm also thinking about where I want to work, so no sleep this week!

IN THE SPOTLIGHTS ║ The Baand.

As I was walking around at the Modefabriek I bumped in into these great clothes. 

I had to stop to watch and feel the clothes, so that's what I did (: 

As garrulous as I am, I started chatting with one of the girls from The Baand, she told me 'bout the story behind The Baand and where they come from. I must have been superenthousiastic, because they even gave me a T-shirt! Well after that, I couldn't stop smiling haha!

So now I'm gonna tell you guys, what she told me! (Confession: because of my poor memory, I might have used the 'about us-page' of the site a little bit...) The Baand was launched in July 2009, after they'd been to Peru in April that same year. Over there they got in touch with the fabric (supersoft cotton, seriously these are my words, it's amazingly soft cotton!) and they decided that they wanted to share this experience with all stylish women (lucky us!) Besides the supersoft cotton and the great fitting the brand delivers, they also are convinced you have to recycle things. That's why they decided to create clothes that stand the test of time, and get even better the more you wear them (well I'm looking forward to experience this!). Oh and last but not least! The Baand is founded by Julie Villumsen& Stine Bauer Boskov.

TRAVEL║ San Francisco.

San Francisco baby, oh yeahhh!

These pics are all made in 'SF', after we arrived in The USA, we first slept in LA for one night, then drove to Pismo Beach, stayed there one night and drove to the first real destination: San Francisco. 

As we drove to SF, we got stuck in the traffic. Eventually we arrived at the hotel, which was directly to Union Square! The mall was like next to the hotel and across the street there were 2 stores of Forever21! Because we arrived in the afternoon/evening, we had to have dinner first, but as we walked to the restaurant - you might can imagine - I was already checking out the stores! I made a little map in my mind so I knew where to go the next morning. 

Since I couldn't sleep very well the first week and a half of the trip - woke up every hour, every night... - I eventually woke up at 7 O'Clock in the morning. When I noticed my dad was awake, I started: 'Dad...', and he already responded with: 'You want to go shopping huh?'. He knows me better then I thought haha! So he agreed, and I was allowed to shop on my own already, 'till my dad and brother would wake up and we would have a breakfast/lunch. Because friends told me (thanks friends) the shops opened at 8, I immidiately started changing. As I headed out of the hotel I noticed it was so crowdy already, happy me, I would go shopping!

But when I arrived at the mall, they were still closed. 'Hmm I thought, maybe they're a little late?', so I walked on, but while walking I noticed all the shops were still closed, and they wouldn't open 'till 10!!!

So imagine: Me walking around with my happy face, and discovering that none of the shops were open yet. 

Well I wouldn't let that destroy my happiness, I decided to make a walk 'round the block and discover SF on my own, so that's what I did. It was great to walk around a bit in SF without any hurry and just watching people running, hurrying and doing their thing, while I had nothing to be late for. After the little walk (which was bigger than I imagined, because of a little orientation problem...) I went back to have a socalled brunch and from then on I was the SF-guide! (well not really, but that sounds much cooler then 'I just went back...')

I'm back!
Yesterday at 14.35 local time (Amsterdam) I arrived at the airport, I slept for like 5 hours at the plane, and I've seen 2 movies ('We bought a zoo' and 'Dolphintales', yeah I'm that philosophy person indeed). Loved both movies!
Oh and the attendant told me (while half of the plane was sleepin') that if I would open the windows I was able to see the socalled aurora, so that's what I did of course! Too cool to see! Thanks attendant (:

'Bout the outfit, I'd bought the top new at Urban Outfitters in San Francisco (there's a little hole in the back, stupid me for not looking good -.-'), it's from Junkfood and I love it! The outfit is pretty basic, but I love it anyway haha (also wore it - but then with other shoes - to the Universal studios, you might see it in next posts!) and it was the perfect outfit for the Grand Canyon weather!

Today I'm gonna catch up with some friends, we're gonna prepare a bit for Lowlands, aaaah lookin' forward to it! I've already made a little LL-planning for myself with artists I can't miss mwuahahaha! (yeah that's my evil laughter...)

LIFE ║ Yuma.

So now I'm actually in the USA, just chillin' in Yuma, a little stop before we're off to San Diego!
I'm at the hotel and since there is a computer over here, I decided to make a post already, 'cause my last automatic post will be on the 8th of August.

Tomorrow I'll return to the Netherlands, but then I'll be so superbizzy. The 15th I've got a meeting with the mentors from the introweek at the VU, then the 16th till the 20th I'll go to Lowlands (YEAAAH) and the 20th I'll have the introweek already!

After that I really need to find a job, 'cause as most of you know (if you read my blog) I stopped Business Administration at the VU... So if you know any jobs for me, don't hesitate to tell me (:

Now back to the good part, the USA is great! Ohmy really, it's amazing! The weather is almost always great, the people are superhappy and there are so many great stores! I haven't bought a lot yet, but I'm planning to buy some more things... Gne gne...

GOODIEBAG ║ Zanox Bloggers Workshop.

As you might have seen in my 'Agenda', I was at the Zanox Bloggers Workshop at the 18th of July.
I went there together with Anouk, I have to admit, we arrived a bit too late (no not fashionably late, just embarrassing), but when we finally sat there I really was grateful I had an invitation! 

The workshop was about making money with your blog, advertising and other smart tips and tricks for blogs, and for me - as computer illiterate - it was superuseful. Especially because the commentation was very  'easy' and clear, which made it possible for me to understand!

After the workshop we were able to enjoy some couscous and speak with fellow bloggers! That's where I met Lana, Laura and Femme, they even recognized me! I was like OOOOOH EMMMMM DJIEEEE. I just thought that was too cool! I mean, me?! Recognized! Wiehoe. Alright, too much energy for this time of the day (02.00...). Again.

At the end we also got a goodiebag! And not just a goodiebag, it was like this supercool goodiebag! I mean, look at the pictures, you will understand (:
The goodiebag contained the following: a collar from ASOS, sunnies and a magazine from Men At Work, a linen bag from Shop With Your Friends, a shirt and autumn/winterc-collection-book (is that even a word?) from McGregor, solid parfume from Supertrash, a magazine from Sarenza, and vouchers of Freshcotton and Suitable! (Wow almost thought this list wouldn't stop...)

I'm thinking of doing more 'Goodiebag-posts', what do you think?

EVENT ║ Henk op de helling.

I already told you Henk op de Helling was great, but no picture, no proof, sooo, here are the pictures!

As you can see, we all wore the same Fretons!

It looked pretty funny (to me), a lot of people looked weird at us, or asked us why we all wore the same sneakers. Understandable, I would think it's strange as well haha!

I also got some compliments 'bout the shoes, at the festival but also at my grandma's house haha! There were some other grannies over there and they wanted to know the brand of the shoe to go get some shoes for themselves. Not the sneakers of course, but they were superimpressed by the quality and the fabric (amazingly soft suede!), so they searched the stores in the Yellow Pages and decided to go there haha!


At the moment this post will be posted, I'm still chillin' somewhere in the USA!
Hopefully I can make hundreds of great pictures to share with you when I come back. I wanted to buy the 50 mm for my Canon, but because of all the things I had to do before leaving I just didn't have enough time to visit the stores -.-.

So 'bout these pictures - while writing this, I'm wondering whether someone even cares, but alright, for those who do (1? 2? 3?)... - the first picture is at the Totally Summer party, my hair looks short over there, dunno how comes haha! The second one is, well, me, just chillin'. The third one is also me chilling, but then in a slightly different way haha! (Oh I'm wearing my newest and most beloved blouse over there!) Fourth picture is from the private-beach, if you seek for us, you might spot us. And the last picture is also from clubbin', I got that rose from some Belgian guys haha!
