Well, so far for the 'new year, new start-idea'...
Tjeez, I really need longer days. Or shorter nights. And more rest. Or something.
Haha I know it's impossible and I'm making such a big deal out of nothing, but hey that's me (:
So what have I done from the first day of this year? I'll tell you!
The last day of 2012 I was getting sick, so at 01.00 O'Clock I was sleeping already. Luckily I got better, so at the first of January, I was able to go to Awakenings OH YEAH! It was amazing, such a bless. Then the third I had to work and afterwards I went to a friend of mine, we went clubbing and the day was over. Friday I had an delayed Christmas dinner with friends, which was lovely and this weekend I had to work both days. That's a short summary of the first days of my life in 2013.
So these pics above, it's a good story! I wanted to have Clarks for a long time already, but since I had to save money, I told myself, I couldn't buy them. So as I was in Zwolle with my dad 2 weeks ago, I had to wait because my dad wanted to go to the Mediamarkt. As I waited I remembered the store across, once had Clarks for a fair price. I decided to walk around a bit while waiting. As I couldn't see them, I decided to ask for them (waiting makes me doing everything to make time pass faster), that's what I did. The sweet girl behind the cash register said she probably knew which ones I meant, and said she had seen one pair that morning. She walked to the shoes and I couldn't believe it. I passed them several times, but that wasn't the surprise. The most important part was the price of the shoes. €29,95!!! I was like OMG! TWENTY NINE AND NINETYFIVE CENTS?! But, they were a size 37. And Clarks always fit bigger (that's what I thought). Still I had to try them on of course, and guess what? Clarks fit one size smaller, so they were perfect for me!
Conclusion of the story: I bought my first pair of lovely Clarks for only €29,95!!!
Oh and after I told my dad what an amazing deal I scored (which I repeated a little 1000 times during that day), I said I'm not that much into shopping anymore, since most of the time things are too expensive (I really am a sale shopper). I wasn't done saying it, or I bumped into this amazing floppy hat! Exactly what I was searching for as well! It actually had an ugly fake leather belt around it, but I did some little DIY and now it looks like this haha!
Sometimes life really is good.
